Sejarah Kecamatan Gondanglegi Kabupaten Malang

Sebuah Kecamatan yang terletak disebelah selatan dari kabupaten Malang, yang mempunyai kontur agak rata dan berbukit
Wilayah Kecamatan Gondaglegi mempunyai luas 6.584,44Ha terdiri dari 14 Desa 31Dusun 59 RW dan 385 RT dengan ketinggian 300 s/d 400 m Dpl dengan batas-batas wilayah :
Utara dengan Kecamatan Bululawang
Timur dengan Kecamatan Kepanjen
Selatan Kecamatan Pagelaran
Barat dengan Kecamatan Turen

Kecamatan Gondanglegi terletak antara koordinat 7o – 48o – 30o Lintang selatan dan 112o – 19o – 30o Bujur timur mempunyai bentuk wilayah sebagian datar, berombak dan berbukit-bukit dengan kemiringan 25 % dan 49 % adalah kawasan hutan, dengan suhu minimum 26oC dan suhu maximum 32oC dengan rata-rata curah hujan 1.328 s/d 1.448 mm/tahun.

ABSTRACT

Globalization has made this world looks smaller and seems like a unity. Time and space reduction has changed people’s mindsets, attitudes, and behaviors. Nevertheless, the ambiguities in this unity hit individual’s consciousness who is appealing the hidden identity. At that moment, the appreciation of local culture becomes so urgent; it is not only about finding identity but also an effort of appreciating the relevance in the global culture. In a relation with the education, the local culture should be able to be the spirit underlying every effort in shaping a better generation in the future.
